5 points - Perfect! This piece of writing, in my opinion, cannot be improved!
4 points - Pretty close to perfect. I was captivated.
3 points - Very promising piece of writing.
2 points - This writing needs a bit of editing and/or re-writing
1 point - Difficult to "get into" - I did not follow what it was all about

Because we strive to become a helpful community of writers, the top status categories have some additional requirements:
A MEMBER needs 1 piece of writing and 1 helpful comment posted on the site
A WRITESCAPER needs 5 pieces of writing and 10 helpful comments posted on the site
A SCRIBE needs 10 pieces of writing and 20 helpful comments posted on the site
A MENTOR is a Scribe who has regularly submitted good writing, quality comments and has shown interest in and commitment to the work we do here over a period of time. Such a person will be approached by the Writescapes Management Team and invited to come on board as a management member.
